Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Chronara Key. By engaging our services for custom software, pre-built programs, or specialized tools, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

  • Custom Software: We provide bespoke development from the ground up based on your unique workflow.

  • Pre-built Programs: We provide rebranding and installation of existing engines, such as our bookkeeping or payroll systems.

  • Custom Tools: We provide rapid development of micro-utilities and system tools.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • You must provide all branding assets (logos, colours) and necessary data logic during the Diagnosis phase.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any accounting or financial logic provided for custom builds.

  • Delays in providing required information may result in an adjusted Deployment date.

3. Payments and Fees

  • Deposits: If the client pursues the deposit route, a 50% deposit will be required.

  • Balance: The remaining 50% is due upon Delivery.

  • Referral Program: $100 CAD e-transfers are issued only after the referred client has paid for their full project. In the event that a referred client refunds their purchase in full, no referral e-transfer payment will occur. If the referred client is issued a 50% refund, we DO still pay 50$ to the person/business who referred the client.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

  • Upon deployment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the software for its intended business purposes. Client is not permitted to resell or distribute the program outside of their business or personal use. Chronara Key retains ownership of the underlying source code, architecture, and logic ('Base Code'). Chronara Key reserves the right to use, modify, and repurpose this Base Code for other projects, including its Pre-built Program library, provided no Client-specific branding or confidential business data is included in those future versions.

5. Warranty and Support

  • Deployment Support: We provide 6 months of ongoing maintenance and support to resolve any software bugs identified after delivery.

  • Limitation of Liability: Chronara Key is not responsible for financial losses resulting from user error, incorrect data entry, or third-party hardware failures.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Our refund policy is strictly enforced as follows:

    • 0–2 Hours: 100% refund (minus any processed discovery fees).

    • 2 Hours–7 Days: 50% refund.

    • After 7 Days: No refunds permitted.

7. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
